Welcome to the homepage of the Townsville Sub-Branch of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia
We are the most Northern Branch of the VVAA in Queensland, situated in the tropical north at Townsville City. We cover an area from The Cape down to Rockhampton, and from Townsville out west to Mt Isa.
The aim of the Sub-Branch is to assist Vietnam Veterans and Veterans of other conflicts and operations with any claims that they may have through our Welfare, Pension Officers and Advocates. It does not matter where you served we are all part of the Veteran Family. We also encourage friendship and camaraderie, by way of having people drop into Zac’s Place for a brew and a chat, and by running social events.
The Sub-Branch Offices are co-located behind the House “Zacs Place” located at 715 Ross River Road, Kirwan.
Through the pages on this website we will keep you up to date on what’s going on within the Sub-Branch, the latest information relating to Veterans, and links to various sites that should be informative.
